I have learned a bit of Adobe Premier Pro and how to upload sounds from Free sound on the page. Our photos were uploaded also to create a Stop motion animation with Jenga blocks. We worked in a group of Anne, Leeanne and myself taking photos and all searching for sounds to use.We all worked as a team .
Check the box to constrain portion size as the image must be as small as possible to load quickly and then it doesn’t slow down broadband .Jpeg medium setting is pretty much all I will need.
When in photoshop and you want to save your image you need to take in account the size of your image. Make sure check boxes constrain portions size is checked and re-sample image checked too.Remember to file save for web.
Lossy file compression results in lost data and quality from the original version. Similarly, a compressed MP3 file may be one tenth the size of the original audio file and may sound almost identical. It removes pixels out of similar colour.
Today Anne and myself uploading the pictures taken with the Jenga Blocks onto Premier Pro. Taken on two different cameras is causing us a bit of difficulty as start out of order.

http://www.freeimages.com/ – Free Images is apparently the best site to locate free images. It contains thousands of copyright free images that anyone can use but some do need written permission from you first before you can use them.
http://images.google.com/ – Google Images has hundreds of thousands that are free to use but only if you go into the search tools and choose a suitable option. It could be the option “labeled for reuse” which means you can use these photos freely.

How To Copyright A Piece Of Work Or Image
You can copyright an image or a piece of work by sending off a postal application or online. Online is cheaper, faster and will provide immediate coverage on all of your work. But, if you have large amounts of work to be copyrighted or you have a slow internet connection, go for the postal option.
If you do it online, you upload all the files you want to be copyrighted. If you do it by post, you send off a CD or DVD or USB drive which store the photos you want to be registered.
HTML and CSS

Image Optimization
Image Optimization is a name for saving file types. PNG is a lossless format so when you reduce the size of the image, the quality stays the same. Unlike a JPG file which gets image artifacts and loses detail.
Lossless and lossy compression are terms that describe whether or not, in the compression of a file, all original data can be recovered when the file is uncompressed. Lossy file formats include: MP3, MP4, AAC, WMA, Ogg and image formats such as JPEG.

This is the link to a website that I think is bad.
The website is not full size and the bar on the left side is very badly laid out. With some of the text squashed in and other areas big spaces. The punctuation used is bad,being inserted in wrong places and no full stop. The layout of the boxes are not the same size. Not much information of the stock that they have but the colours used seem alright. Doesn’t do the business justice and the avert in paper better.

So you do not actually benefit from visiting their website at all . They seem to want you to visit the store but doesn’t entice you to go. Even though the background and colours are acceptable, it doesn’t connect with the theme of their company.
BHS has a good website as the tabs on the top are easy and divided into easy categorizes like Women, Men,Girls and Boys. Its bright and easy to navigate and at the bottom or the additional information like delivery ,Returns are easy.So to me it works well. http://www.bhs.co.uk this is the link; It uses the colour in logo and continues it through the site. It is not full screen lay out but it works for this site.
B&Q. http://www.diy.com/ I think has a good website as its easy to navigate all round from which rooms to the help and advise tab. Its bright ,clear and colourful. The pictures of the the items are clear and helpful too .The colour that is used in the logo continues through out the site. The full screen size makes the page stand out and looks very effective also plenty of additional information like help and click and collect.
