The final Video has been given to Graeme Smith for the I.T team project for promoting Courses within the Media Building. I have updated my Diary for this project.

Creative Process Promoting Courses

Waiting on Lea-anne emailing her poster as she cannot come in. Once that’s received I shall insert into Our Project  called the I.t team . Adam has done the video Anne and myself took photos. I created a story board to place photos on a board with course titles underneath.I have inserted other photos onto Adams video and added music. Hopefully then can export this and then upload. Creative Process. Promoting Media Space.

Today I have managed to finish the editing and dropped photos in Video and added storyboard with pictures of some of the courses at Fife College within the Media Space . Sound has been added just waiting on Lea- ann putting finishing touches to her poster. Once this is done I shall insert  onto video and export media and upload to you tube.

Creative Process

Today we had a group meeting ,discussing the way ahead . Anne and myself took photos in the Art space with students and their work. Adam is going to start taking some video footage. Lea was asking for ideas about poster.

Creative Process. Promoting Courses at Dunfermline

Anne and myself are taking photographs to promote Dunfermline, Fife College. We are working with Lee-ann and putting different ideas together for a poster maybe incorporating some photos Adam is working on Video footage .

Fife College in Dunfermline, Halbeath, Campus.

The Media space at Dunfermline offers 17 courses.

Access to Performing Arts, Level 5 

This course is designed as an access route into Acting and Performing Arts. It introduces the Creative Industries, the various employment opportunities available and the key skills required to pursue work as a performer.

HND Active and Performance

This demanding practical course requires student application of learned techniques, knowledge and practice in year 1 (HNC) towards production and site specific performance projects.

NC art and Design Level 6

The combination of drawing, painting, 2D and 3D design skills and illustration, will give you the opportunity to build a substantial portfolio for entry to art college or HN Level.

Design and Digital Media. Level 6

The NC Design and Digital Media Level 6 course is an exciting, practical course featuring web design, graphic design, animation, audio, video, 3D and photography. Learning activities will assist you to master software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects and 3D Studio Max.

HNC  Acting and Performance

This demanding practical course has been designed to equip you with performance and academic skills required by organisations, agencies and employers across the Theatre and Performing Arts industries.

HNC Art and Design

The HNC/D Art and Design Programme allows you to study a variety of creative arts, including life drawing, painting, 2D and 3D design skills , textiles and mixed media. During the programme you will develop a substantial portfolio.

HNC Jewellery

The subjects studied cover traditional, current and experimental techniques for designing and making jewellery.

HNC Photography

This programme’s aim is to enhance your photographic skills and align them to industry standards.You will develop practical knowledge and technical skills for researching, planning, capturing and presenting work. This programme is ideal for anyone who is further building their photographic skills as well as those with more experience who would like to return to education. This programme is designed to prepare you for working as a photographer or for further photographic studies at a higher level.

HNC Visual Communication Incorporating Interactive Media

The HNC in Visual Communication provides an opportunity for learners to prepare themselves for a career within the Creative Industries and covers a wide range of areas from print to screen incorporating interactive media. The qualification develops knowledge and skills in visual communication, using industry standard software, through projects and in-depth study of the design industry.

HND Photography

The HNC in Visual Communication provides an opportunity for learners to prepare themselves for a career within the Creative Industries and covers a wide range of areas from print to screen incorporating interactive media. The qualification develops knowledge and skills in visual communication, using industry standard software, through projects and in-depth study of the design industry.

HND Visual Communication including Interactive Media

This one year course builds on the knowledge and skills of the HNC in Visual Communication. It covers a range of areas from print to screen incorporating interactive media; subjects such as web design, animation (2D and 3D), graphic design, photography, audio and video.

Jewellery Level 6

This course is suitable for students with a recognised ability in art and design who wish to study a jewellery specialism. It provides you with a strong foundation in the design and manufacture of contemporary jewellery.

NC Art and Jewellery Level 5

This course is designed to give students an introduction to these subjects with the view to then progressing onto NC Art & Design Level 6 full-time or NC Jewellery Level 6 full-time.

NC Creative industries( Access to Computer Games and Animation)

This course is ideal if you wish to pursue a career within the computer games, animation or web development industry and are looking to progress onto the NC computer games development, HND 3D computer animation or HND interactive media courses.

NC Creative Industries incorporating Game Design

This course is ideal for students who have not yet decided which direction to take in the Creative Industries. Students study digital imaging, animation, game design and other creative subjects.

NC Creative Industries inc. Audio,Video and Photography

Students study digital imaging, animation, photography, audio and video as well as other creative subjects that provides the platform to develop the fundamental skills required for progression to employment or further study at college or university. Subjects are taught with industry standard software such as the Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, In Design and Premier.

Photography Level 6

It is ideal for anyone who would like to improve their basic photographic skills. The programme range covers: studio, location and portraiture, image editing, still life, reportage, as well as building skills in digital and traditional photography. It prepares you well for progression to an HN programme by spending time on portfolio creation.

The Media space has;

The Fletcher Studio where the drama students practice movement with lights for their productions.

Art Space for the Art students to create in a relaxed atmosphere. Here the students paint and draw to create a portfolio of their work.

Dance and Drama for students to learn techniques within this field.(Movement  and performance).

Digital Space has a sound studio. For courses within the Audio,Sound and Music Creations.

My plan to take 12 photos within the Media Space building to promote the courses that are are available at Dunfermline Fife College. Halbeath Campus.

To take varied shots covering some of the students work. eg. a Jewellery Creation,classrooms with students, shots of Departments with some of the equipment and the facilities college offers within the Media Space for Creative Industries.
